Location: Travelling Appointments with some home-based working.

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated, highly capable Field Security Technical Advisor to join our Technical Services team. Reporting to the Technical Delivery Director, you will support a range of client projects, provide technical expertise and help to deliver high-quality security outcomes.
This is a varied, field-based role involving travel to client sites across the UK, with occasional overseas travel and some home-based working. It would suit someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, client-focused approach.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a technical or security-related discipline.
- Recognised Fire & Security engineering qualification (desirable).
- Strong understanding of the design, installation, and maintenance of security systems.
- Ability to assess and challenge third-party installers and maintainers.
- Membership of ASC, The Security Institute, IPSA, or another recognised professional body is advantageous.
- Provide expert technical security advice across client sites and projects.
- Assess and audit security solutions against client requirements and recognised industry standards.
- Review third-party specifications, quotations, and drawings from both a technical and cost assurance perspective.
- Produce security system design drawings, technical documentation, and project outputs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisation and time management with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Experience using Bluebeam or similar design drawing software is desirable.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, programme teams, and colleagues.

Application Process
Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their right to work in the UK and provide proof of a valid driving licence, access to an appropriate work vehicle with business use insurance, and a valid passport.
Successful candidates will also be required to pass BPSS and BS7858 security screening, sponsored by the company, before employment commences. Additional higher-level security screening may be required depending on specific client needs.
