Role Overview 

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and highly capable Security Control Centre Assurance Lead to support the assurance, improvement, and development of Security Control  Centre operations for a key client environment. Reporting to the relevant business lead, you will  provide independent subject matter expertise across contract performance, governance,  operational assurance, reporting, and continuous improvement activity. 
 

This is a varied, home-based role involving regular travel to client sites, stakeholder workshops, and operational meetings as required. It would suit someone who combines practical security  operations knowledge with strong analytical, assurance, reporting, and stakeholder  engagement skills, and who is confident challenging performance, identifying improvement  opportunities, and helping clients progress towards a best-in-class delivery model. 

Your Qualifications & Skills

Operational Experience

  • Experience in Security Control Centre, Alarm Receiving Centre, operational assurance, or security advisory environments.  
  • Strong understanding of alarm monitoring, activations, response procedures, escalation arrangements, false alarm and URN management.  
  • Experience reviewing operational procedures, workflows, guidance documents, and governance frameworks.  
  • Ability to assess contract performance, identify operational risks, and recommend practical improvements.  
  • Experience working within regulated, high-profile, or complex operational environments is advantageous 
  • Membership of a recognised security industry body or relevant professional qualifications is desirable.  

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.  
  • Confident interpreting operational performance data and producing evidence-based recommendations.  
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation skills.  
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.  
  • Experience developing performance dashboards, management information, or reporting tools is advantageous 

Operational Assurance & Improvement

  • Provide independent assurance of contract performance, operational effectiveness, and service outcomes.  
  • Benchmark services against recognised industry standards, best practice, and client expectations.  
  • Audit operational processes, identify performance gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives.  
  • Develop KPIs, operational metrics, performance reporting, and executive-level dashboards.  
  • Produce assurance reports, improvement plans, and strategic recommendations that support operational maturity.  
  • Provide subject matter expertise across Security Control Centre operations to enhance service delivery.

Application Process

Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their right to work in the UK and provide proof of a valid driving licence, access to an appropriate work vehicle with business use insurance, and a valid passport. 

Successful candidates will also be required to pass BPSS and BS7858 security screening, sponsored by the company, before employment commences. Additional higher-level security screening may be required depending on specific client needs.
